Why We Started K&N TRAVEL PLANNING
Well, we first met in middle school, bonding over bad haircuts and a questionable fashion sense (hey, it was the 90’s - it was rough if you weren’t the cast of Clueless). Since then, we’ve shared a love for traveling…and a knack for planning awesome vacations.

We have 20 years of career experience, plus survived grad school and law school, so we get it – time is precious. We've skipped vacations, afraid to explore alone, and settled for less adventurous destinations, because sometimes being adventurous is scary. Since we’ve been our clients, we understand our clients. Let us make your vacation extraordinary!

At our core, our goal is to be more than just a personal travel planner or a travel coach. I’m a public-service attorney who loves to travel (obviously), is addicted to coffee ice cream, and has a strange affinity for the Oxford comma (read: I’m a nerd). I have to be serious and professional during my day job, so I have a really hard time being serious and professional any other time. I’ve watched The Wire and The West Wing more times than I care to publicly admit and have the cutest doggo ever - Winston.
I’ve experienced firsthand wanting to travel to some amazing place so much that I could taste it. I’ve experienced not having time to figure out which destination to pick or how to make it happen. And the devastation of having to cancel those weekend plans because of a big case. I’ve experienced not having anyone to travel with because all my friends were too busy with their own big cases, or they were getting married and having kids and I was too scared to travel solo. I love figuring out the logistics of travel (seriously, a nerd) and my head is full of great places to visit and how to get there! So let me help you plan a great vacation!

I’m a public school librarian in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I unexpectedly but delightfully made the dramatic shift to rural life during the pandemic to live a nature-centered life focused on skiing (mostly Jay Peak), hiking (including parts of the Long Trail), and walking my dog, Milly, on endless dirt roads (much to her delight!).
After enduring years of endometriosis treatments, I embarked on my first solo trip in 2017 to mark a new chapter in my health journey, igniting a lifelong passion for solo travel (Click here to learn more). Exploring the world on my own terms has become an integral part of my adventures, forever enriching my life and shaping my perspective. I’m a Master Certified Health Coach and eager to use my coaching skills and travel experience to help you identify, plan, and execute your travel wants and needs. As your travel coach, I will help you better understand your reasons to travel and how you can get the most out of the journey. The world has much to offer explorers; let’s work together to figure out what you can bring to it!
